YellowMap

YellowMap is a leading supplier of services for location-based information. YellowMap participates in research projects, cooperating with other leading companies in Europe, to provide highly personalized and sophisticated location-based solutions.

There are various applications for our services such as data visualization in an interactive map, for example POIs like restaurants, hotels, ATMs, etc. or general data like weather information or traffic jams. Another service calculates routes between two places, provides a map with the highlighted route and gives directions. Additional services allow users to interact with the stored data, for example to add comments and ratings to POIs.
YellowMap has gained valuable experience in the area of mobile car sharing solutions and context sensitive vicinity search in previous research projects. The Use Case “Green Mobility” will be based on this experience.
