Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (LMU)
LMU (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität) is one of the most internationally renowned and strongest research universities in Germany. Approximately 700 professors and an academic staff of about 3,000 research and teach at the university’s 18 departments. The university enjoys a long tradition and offers a broad and diversified spectrum of learning opportunities in all areas of knowledge, including humanities, cultural studies, law, economic sciences, social sciences, medicine, and natural sciences. LMU is part of 24 collaborative research centers funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG).
