jCOM1 AG

In collaboration with research institutes, Dr. Albert Fleischmann, founder of jCOM1 AG, has developed a globally unique method of optimizing business process management. Subject-oriented business process management (S-BPM) places the focus on the flow of communication among employees instead of defining a rigid central control flow as in traditional BPM.

Subject-oriented BPM (S-BPM) is the first to acknowledge that employees themselves drive processes instead of simply "functioning" on an assembly line. According to independent research, subject-oriented BPM (S-BPM) is the only continuous solution – from modeling to execution of business processes – that seamlessly integrates the IT nerve center with technical departments. The advantages of subject-oriented BPM (S-BPM) include greater motivation, savings in time and costs, increased flexibility, improved employee integration and simpler compliance.

The economic benefits of subject-oriented BPM (S-BPM) can reach millions of euros annually, depending on company size. For this reason, subject-oriented BPM (S-BPM) is in especially high demand during the current economic downturn. At the beginning of 2009, the Bayerische Beteiligungsgesellschaft (Bavarian Investment Corporation) and KfW Bankengruppe became investors in jCOM1 AG, which was founded in 2004.
